This is what it looks like when the COACH sees an issue and moves to correct it. Note, he did not bench proven players. He addressed the actual friggin problem. Coaching.

He is also 82 years old and hasn?t coached since 2017. I don?t what they expect from him.

They expect him to fix the issues. His history speaks loudly.

Wouldn't matter if they hired an 18 year old, just the optics of trying to fix the issue and moving in the right direction is a win.

You can't be that bad at your job in any field and stay employed. The staff is paid to win football games.

well their previous coach had been absent since August due to a health issue. this is really a stop gap measure the folks around here are ready to call for Kelly's head on a platter.

Hey now. That high school coach is actually the GM of our football program right now.

Hey we have experienced leaders on both sides of the aisle running the country and that's going, never mind*. Seriously, wasn't Jenkins our OL coach fore several years and did a very good job? At least LSU is not bringing in an inexperienced person or persons who have never held such positions. Back to recruiting, any good news or rumors? We are stuck on 16 commits and going to have to fend off big $ offers for some of the top ones I hear.
