I watched MRA boys last night for the first time this season. I had been told by Duease himself that he thought they could be pretty good this year. Well, let's just say that he might be sand bagging with that statement. They are pretty damn fun to watch....very athletic, long, high tempo, and deep. Last night they played a team that was not very good, but they had 4 dunks from 4 different players with an alley oop included. They played everyone, but their normal rotation could be 9-11.
They will only get better, and that is not good news for the rest of the state. They already beat the pre-season #1, Magnolia Heights by 10-12 (was beating them as much as 22 at one point), and they only have three seniors on the team. Just a change of pace from football. They play JA this Thursday at MRA. Could be the greatest show on wood this year!
