Outside the issues we discussed on multiple threads. I don't think the game was as bad as it unfolded.
The mobile QB is such a weapon. You can't underestimate how powerful that is against any D but especially an aggressive D which we are. We did get pressure some with only 4 rushing but the QB made us look silly. On contrast, Will makes an average D look like 85 bears.
AZ took some lucky crap to make it the game it was.
A false start took a TD off board for us.
Poor play calling and fumble out endzone erased a great opening drive.
The hail mary by AZ would be missed 9 of 10 times or more but they got lucky. Then the Fake spike sneak in a TD was a great call but again lucky as crap.
AZ made adjustments and found the right calls to take advantage of our weaknesses. Our coaches did not which is most disappointing.
Due to matchups, I don't think we beat LSU but we can make adjustments and still have an OK year 1 but we gotta make some changes to our approach - now.
