Duke having an impressive start.

Dabo hasn't adjusted to the transfer portal and it will only get more obvious. Clemson doesn't have near the talent disparity they used to. They strike me as a high teens, low 20s team by end of year.

Based completely on one offensive and defensive drive. Hot take machine in full effect.

Clemson Dynasty dead???

I mean I took Under 9.5 wins on them at +152.

So yea I think their dynasty is dead.

I don?t know. Duke looks pretty decent. That defense is fast and they are getting pressure on the QB. Much of what we lack on D.

Well, that penalty was just bizarre. Seems like something that would happen to Duke/Mississippi State instead Clemson/Alabama.

No. They've literally had a golden horseshoe all second half. Clemson has been inside the 5 three different times this half and has scored 0 points. The fumbles weren't even punch outs.

Case in point. Clemson is hilariously unlucky on top of being kinda mediocre. Top 5 coach that a night like this could happen to.

They hired Garrett Riley for that atrocious offense? They ride their white boy until he can’t do any more. Did their QB attempt a pass over 15 yards?

Duke fumbled away a scoring shot right before 1st half

Yeah. That worried me at that point. Had an easy FG at the least.

This feels like the end of Clemson as an annual contender and more like Tommy Bowden Clemson.

Mike elko is 10-4 at Duke. He appears to be the real deal

yep, Elko can flat out coach. Wasn't he TX A&M's DC a few years ago?
Dabo has top 10 recruiting. But the portal is perhaps closing the gap for other teams for parity.

Duke QB is impressive. He's got all the tools the pros wants. Clemson just kind of sucks

This why the SEC doesn't need Clemson should our leaders be short sighted enough to feel we need to expand again anytime in the next 2 decades. FSU I kind of get, along with a NC and/or VA school, but another school in a small market state like Clemson. No thank you. They only have value as a national brand. Dabo's Clemson is he exception not the rule. Historically Clemson compares more to SEC teams like Auburn/Arkansas than Bama/UGa.

They can't sustain 10 win seasons which is what it takes to a national program. They are more of an 8 win program.

While I kind of get your point you can't just discount recency. They have 12 straight 10 win seasons.

Absolutely. But if they return to the mean anytime soon , then their value as an expansion school all but withers up and drifts away in the wind.

definitely a theme for bama connected coaches
