JoMo pur up huge numbers vs non-con. It's so different from SEC play you can't tell much positives- only negatives. For example our OL is missing blocks and Will seems unsure of where WRs are. That should clean up with reps. OM has the ssme system and coaches so yeah their offense is further along. Theor D looked awful though, not dominant at all like it should have been

Our DBs should give up 1st down passes in man. Our veteran DB shouldn't break off his assignment because of a play action head fake from the QB. Our veteran S shouldn't have crappy tacking form.

Early thoughts....

We need a QB that can pick up a few yards with his feet every now and then. Run the read option with Wright the whole first half and it's probably 35-7.

Defense looks slow, and very non-aggressive. Haven't seen much blitzing when that's what we saw every play last year. Not sure if this is the norm, or if we are just trying to play more of a base D. Either way, it's doing ok, but I feel like we could blitz and shut them completely down.

O-line needs to sack up and get more push.

He's been quick to check down, hasn't once used his experience to outsmart the D, and is inaccurate at every distance.

Will doesn't outsmart the defense in pre snap.

Will doesn't execute the simple stuff well, see his overthrown of open men deep, misthrow on a slant, misthrown on a swing pass.

Will honestly doesn't even put his body on the line for the team like the other 21 plays on the field do- the man is TERRIFIED of getting his and will tuck early instead of trying to make a play. Literally every other position gets hit more than him but he still can't take it.

Lastly, he's a non-factor athletically.

Mullen's last year we had Aeris. He was a warrior in that Bama game. Biggest mistake JoMo made was starting Hill over Aeris the next year. And Aeris would block LBs coming from Fitz's blind side too.

Wright with the option is the best offense I've seen all day. Our best teams have had dual threat guys at QB. Wright has to play more going forward

The best QB is starting. You honestly think they are not starting Wright on purpose? He has ran power read and QB stretch. It doesnt take a QB to do that it takes an athlete
