It's fine in the NFL. 17 games and tons of practice time and efficiency. Hate it in CFB. And it's not shortening game times.

Standard rules for all parts of the game should be observed. The only time the clock should stop is, incomplete passes, change of possession, out of bounds plays, and timeouts. No first down stop of the clock. If you want it to stop, get out of bounds.

That is about how it has always been. Unless it was a 3 and out.

It feels fast now but offenses will go uptempo more often and eventually we will all get used to it.

I've been watching the CU game and haven't noticed a problem. Game started at 11 or a tad after and it's 1:46 with 3 min left in the 3rd.

It's definitely better now that the scoring has picked up. But, that first 7-8 minutes of the game just evaporated.
