This was what he did in HS in 3 years.

7000 yards on 478 carries with 80 tds.

That's over 14 yards per carry.

I think you?re missing 200 carries from his senior year. State?s site says 438 his So/Jr years and then 240 as a senior. Regardless, awesome HS career.

It may be 6A ball and Katy is one of the best schools in the state year in and year out ...but after attending HS football for 40 years ...I could never understand how much the defensive side of the ball was completely ignored throughout every level of football... and after seeing so called four and five star guys flame out at the college level...I just came to the conclusion that Texas football was soft...that being said... it does not take away from Davis's accomplishments and his ability to be a great back

Texas football is more finesse than Mississippi but Seth Davis is legit. He has speed, agility, vision, a nose for the end zone and he?s tough. I can?t wait to see him this year but when he adds a few more pounds of muscle this dude could be one of the greats. Think Josh Robinson with even better cutting and moves.

If you watch his film, dude is crazy quick hitting the hole, shifty and has breakaway speed.
A very nice change of pace from Woody!
Lets go!

I can understand why he is listed as #2

I can see him as the second half back when the opposing defense is getting a little tired.
