Why would we, or anyone outside of Bama, GA, LSU, and UF want the divisions done away with?

Seems to me, this year we just have to be better than 6 other teams which we get to play to decide it to get to Atlanta. Now we have to be better than 14 teams to get there. Most of which, we wouldn?t even play.

Why get rid of divisions?

So we can play Vandy and usce and Mizzou every other year.

And getting to Atlanta really doesn't matter anymore. It's all about being top 12.

The West has been much better than the East since the late 00s. Had the divisions been abolished way back then, I bet we would have won close to 10 more games since then.

Remember in 2010 when we went 1-4 against the West, but still finished 15th in the final poll with all 4 others finishing in the top 10? Imagine if we'd only played 2 of them.

THIS. Divisions are not the best thing for the SEC.

Imagine say 12-0 Alabama vs 7-5 Mizzou and let's say Mizzou happens to upset Alabama. That hurts the SEC.

Versus say 12-0 Alabama losing to 11-1 LSU in the SEC Championship Game.
