I don't think those are necessarily the problem, but stick the state star logo where the banner M is at and use the 2014 sleeves, and remove the state star from the back and I think it's a top 5 uniform. We are very close!

1. Goodbye banner word mark on the chest. You won't be missed.

2. The helmets are awesome. If we're not getting the interlocking back full time, might as well roll with these.

3. I hate the small banner M-state on the chest. Eradicate it completely. Screw this compromise crap. Eliminate it from our athletic uniforms COMPLETELY.

Also would've liked to see a blocked "STATE" or "MISS. STATE" on the chest but I won't be too picky I guess.

4. No more grey stripes. Thank God. The two white stripes look much better but I would've preferred no stripes. Simple is the going look these days. The less going on, the better.

Overall a much better uniform, helmet, and helmet logo, but not a home run by any stretch. Solid 8/10

I eventually hope to see a modernized version of that at some point in the next few years including an interlocking MSU helmet.

Clean, love the script State and the pants are a throwback (double maroon stripe) to my very first Bulldog memories of Billy Jackson, John Bond, Mardye McDole and the crew!

I also think we are really going to start branding ourselves as THE "State" in the country and we have the most powerful conference around to push it for us. Great marketing move.

For helmet, I still like the interlocking MSU. Also like the M over S. Mstate is OK on helmet but seems copied a lot. I'm ok with using the State but not as the every game look. Not a big fan of stripes but around sleeves isn't terrible like a year of two in the 90s I think. Agree others, no gray.
