if Lemon and GoTro can close Montgomery- we could have one of the best if not THE best hitting line-ups in the SEC. He is a must-have

2. Larry 2B (R) .297 7/30 19/21 SB's
3. Montgomery RF (S) .336 17/51
4. Hines 1B (L) .297 22/61
5. Jordan LF (R) .307 10/40
6. Kohler 3B (L) .330 11/33
7. Hugesak CF (R) Great summer- limited AB's in 2022
8. HighFill C (R) 9 HR's as a true freshman
9. ?????? DH

Hopefully there is room for improvement with a lot of those. We were a pretty young team last year so you think those guys improve and I think Larry can up his BA some.

If we get Montgomery our batting order will have two likely first round picks and a second round pick going into their money year. Add in three seniors and a catcher that is going to be All-SEC caliber as he progresses yeah- that's a good lineup.

I'd like to see us get another outfielder though to be honest- could be a Mangum type lead off guy or another corner guy. Move Hujsack to DH.

We have to pull him.
Maybe that's too much because the rumors for the past couple of months.
But we badly need that in our lineup.

Agree. Really getting our ERA down to 5 which isn't that great would improve our season next year. If he can get it down lower than that- we'll be greatly improved.
