Looks like we got 3 players downgraded quite a bit by 247. Woodland, Hibbler, and Flowers all bounced down several full points after being ranked around 90 or higher. So, that knocks us down from having 6 four-star players to 3. Wonder why they took such a hit?

I didn't see sarcasterisks, so I'll assume this is an honest question. The answer is because they committed to us instead of some of the "bigger" schools that were courting them.

Does that mean if they went to another school rated higher they would play better than coming to poor ole state with a lower rating? **************

Lol. What it really shows is why we'll never have a class rated higher than in the high teens or low 20s.

Which is why I don't pay any attention to these "rankings". It's just like the preseason magazines and their pre season predictions. It's all about money. Poor ol' State doesn't garner as many clicks or sell as many magazines as some other schools. There is a reason we always get picked last but never finish there.

Ding ding ding. The stars matter crew is right that stars matter for the top 10 recruiters who are signing 5 stars and a bunch of high 4 stars.
Classes 11-35 are a crapshoot.

If you go to Genespage and click on team rankings, 24/7 is now using their ratings only, not the composite, thus our fall. As noted, this caused most of our players to drop. All clickbait for recruiting. No way some of commits should drop that much, but a few rose. I will trust our coaches and the process to play out. Long way to December signing day. Hail State!
