hahaha- yeah that's what he is saying. And no- I dont remember that particular incident altho I dont doubt it happened at all. I met some pretty friendly girls at State (especially at Cheers) before meeting my wife.

I spent quite a bit of time at Cheers in the early 90's. I feel so old now, I can't hardly remember the names of the hangouts. Crossroads........

Same here. I had Coach Akins for Coaching Football on M/W/F at 8am. Between $1 You Call It Tuesdays and then Thursday nights at Cheers- I started missing some of those 8am's with Akins. After about my 4th miss- he pulled me aside after class on Monday and told me if I missed again he was going to kick my ass. Haha- I didnt miss anymore

Me and my Budweiser were leaning against that far post of the entrance one night getting some air because it was so packed inside when something slammed me in back of the head. I swung around bowed up ready to deck whoever hit me when I realized what had happened. Some dude was face down eating gravel in the parking lot just past me and Pickle was standing in the door. Pickle had thrown that guy so far that his foot hit me in back of the head as he went sailing by.

I wish I had hung out at The Club more than I did. We just hated that longass drive. Cheers was closer and very productive for landing some nice fish
