Yep. Typical Mississippi High School under the radar recruit who really only just started playing football and has been more of a baseball player.

Would not be totally shocked if he follows a similar recruiting path as Jones as far as going from unrated to eventually at least a four star guy and maybe a 5 star depending on his season.

Hopefully there will be much less drama at the end though unlike Chris.

Let him stay a 3-Star. That'll keep the Big Boys away from him. Once players become 4-Star or higher rated is when they pop up on the radars of the BAMA's and UGA's of the world.

Ehh I think it's the reverse cause and effect: These "under the radar" MS kids blow up not because of 247 rating them high, but their rating gets high because they've blown up in the eyes of college programs. Schools have WAY more talent evaluation capabilities than 247, so 247 follows their lead. It seems like a "Bama bump", but it's actually just 247 letting Bama do their evaluation for them.

The key is to be on the early like we are here. Get them in the boat before they get noticed, then make Saban or LSU have to flip him. That's the real advantage of a MS focused staff, getting in those living rooms early

But man this guy... 6'6 250 with athleticism and he doesn't even know what he's doing technique wise yet. Sounds like Sweat 2.0
