I think LSU is cooked. BUT...if they do manage to win tomorrow, JJ and Wes will try to throw Skenes again Thursday night, you watch. Skenes will problably tell them to Foff.

ETA: If they win Wednesday.

Yeah, I think after tomorrow night they will either only be participating in the college world series from the stands or more probable headed back to BR.

yeah, i'm hoping for 14 innings but I don't think lsu has any reliable pitching left at all. I'll be surprised if tenn doesn't handle them fairly easily.

Statistically likely errors though.

LSU had a nobody go 6 innings.

I watched 8 innings of the game, TN just seemed done. They did not have energy or fight in them and were ready to go home

They let a couple of soft tossing lefties beat them (which occasionally happens) and couldn't lay off the stuff outta the zone thus making some weak contact.

Cooper Riley may be the worst conditioned pitcher and biggest fat ass on the bump since David Wells, Sid Fernandez or the old version of Bartolo Colon.

LSU will have to throw Skenes vs Wake in the 2nd game. If they can manage to beat Wake, then they setup well for the finals vs UF by having Skenes available for the Tues. finals game. He will have pitched 3 full games during this tourney if the plan is executed. Good job by Jay Johnson in scheduling him for max. effect and a possible 7th LSU CWS Championship.
