Severe threat today and Monday

There is an enhanced threat of severe weather today for north MS and a slight risk Monday for the southern part of the state. Main threats both days are large hail and damaging straight line winds. Tornado threat is low both days, but as was seen yesterday in Canton it can't be completely ruled out.

I've had the same thought. April was absolutely tranquil and now we start to get storms in June. At least a low tornado threat.

Yeah I'm stuck offshore. Told the wife in Tennessee to park the vehicles in the garage!!

Severe weather now underway. One storm currently tornado warned and several others producing large and heavy quantities of hail as they move SE.
