When I asked this back in March, 92% of the board wanted to fire him, with only 8% wanting him to get another year. You can see that thread here:
https://www.elitedawgs.com/showthread.php?96175-Poll-on-Lemonis

At the time of the poll, we had just lost to Vanderbilt by a score of 26-3 to fall to 0-4 in the SEC. We are now 9-20 going into the final game. I don't see why people would be changing their minds from March, since we indeed finished near the bottom of the SEC, missed Hoover, missed a Regional, and were terrible in most statistical categories, but I still get the feeling that after all this, we'll suddenly have a lot more than 8% wanting to keep him.

Back then, I answered "Fire him immediately because he has clearly lost the team." I think I was wrong on that observation. I don't think he's lost the team.

Nonetheless, I still vote to fire him because a program of our stature just can't accept being THIS bad in two consecutive years. People here have tried to sugarcoat things and say we're actually not that bad, but we are. Failing to make the top 12 of a 14-team league twice when we care more than anyone else and half the conference doesn't care at all is horrendous, and it's not just due to bad luck, it's because we are statistically bad in most categories.

I just don't have any faith whatsoever that Lemonis can turn this around. Nothing about the last 2 seasons suggests that we're going to be any better next year, so let's move on. Any reasonably competent coach should have this program not just in a Regional almost every year, but at least in the mix to be hosting almost every year.

We finished last and next to last. No other metric is relevant. He is the HEAD coach. He is responsible. Get him the 17 out.

Could there be anything more indicative of our season than getting run ruled in the final game.

For those of you voting no, how bad would we have had to have been for you to vote Yes? Where is the line for you?

Am thrilled Zac Selmon is our AD. And now he has his first real test in the role. Does he have teeny tiny testicles or big brass balls. The Fanbase Larry says "gitr done".

I'm firmly in that 92%

We are just delaying the inevitable if we don?t fire him this weekend. I would fire him but I?m not the one writing the checks for the buyout

We're not firing him this weekend. Yes, it has been extremely rough. Yes, I believe that he will inevitably be fired....but it's not happening this year.

Does this inning not spell out our season to a tee.

The umpire runs up the white flag for State by calling off the plate strikes tonend the 8th.

We score 10 runs. And loose again.

Take heart. State was 5-8 this year when scoring 7 or more runs.

We only lose 18 games this year when we gave up double digit runs. 18 of our 26 losses, the opponents scored in double digits. Sigh.

From 92-8 to 85-15. Not sure why anyone would go from anti-Lemonis to pro-Lemonis after the last 2 months, but this supports my theory that Lemonis is in a little bit better shape with the fanbase (though still well underwater) than he was earlier this year.

82-18 now. 10% of this board has changed their mind on Lemonis now.

(Yes, yes, there's a huge margin of error on that number due to sampling, but how many regular posters do we have here who care about baseball? Probably less than the 62 who voted last time.)

Some folks have a very short term memory bank.
