Agree, this is not a talent issue.

We have blown 4 sec games and the early game to one of the V schools(can't remember which one, lol) where we had a 10-1 lead, where just one poor decision(sometimes multiple) led to the losses. Imagine if we had those 4 sec wins and the other non conference win. We would now be 29-13 and 10-9 sec. But as Dandy Don used to say "If if's and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Christmas"

Ledbetter doesn't pitch. We need pitching. Pitching is the issue, whether it is recruiting, evaluating, coaching, injuries, development, pitch calling, or substitution issues. It's pitching. We can't pitch. We aren't losing because of Ledbetter, Kellum, Hines, Larry, Hancock, etc. We are losing because we can't pitch.

Dead on! No way this staff should be giving up 8-10+ runs a game. Our approach is way to predictable and we're so in love with trying to strike everyone out, it's killing us. Pitch selection is not good

He's good but that seems a bit too high for the player I see. But we've essentially wasted both he and Yeager last year. I'd certainly be disappointed if I was either of those guys.

Agreed. It’s coaching, or it’s pitch calling, or it’s misuse, or it’s development. But it’s not working. We are scoring enough to win. But the walks, the ERA, good Lord it’s bad.

I agree completely. Especially since he is good twice through a lineup but not 3 times. It should have been automatic change. Unfortunately we also decide struggling pitchers need work in those situations in conference games.

Yep! I'm still floored by the fact that we brought in Tyson Hardin on Friday first guy out of the pen in a three run game after he got chewed out on Tuesday.
