....He was the best SS/3B I have ever seen in ANY level of baseball. Went to Arlington one year with my family to see Will Clark play 1B for the Rangers and Rafael Palmeiro for the Orioles. Cal was the SS for the Orioles. He was baseball poetry in motion. To catch a grounder, transfer it to his hand, and then throw it to either first or 2nd was one fluid motion like none other I have ever seen. And that includes Derek Jeter. Plus, Cal could hit for power and average. He just about was an MLB Allstar every year he played. He's a Hall of Famer of Hall of Famers!
