Hunter Renfroe has had a good start. He has played in all 19 games. He has at least one hit in 10 of the last 12 games. He is batting .264, his OBP is .354, and his slugging is .500. He has 4 homers, 5 doubles, 16 RBI, 13 strikeouts, and 10 walks.

If he played in 152 of the 162 games, his current pace would yield 32 homers, 40 doubles, 128 RBI, and 80 walks.

Agreed. He has 4 homers, 1 double, and 11 RBI. He is hitting .324

Switching to minor league former State players, is Cumbest hurt (is in lowest level of play) or just isn't his future? TA is also struggling again along with a few others. Jake playing well. Hope he get a call up soon as he is now 28 years of age. Hail State!

He's playing before the smallest "crowds" in his life. Was always an A's fan, especially in their glory years, but sooner they get that stadium built in Las Vegas the better.

Mangum hit .285 in 2021, .306 in 2022, and is hitting .326 this year. He just turned 27 last month.

Jake is 27, but yes he's old for a minor league guy. Got to move quick.

Don't follow MLB anymore except for our former players. Does Chisholm hit for power? Know this is a negative for Jake.

Hope so. I met him when he was in AA for the DBacks then got traded to the Marlins during a series in Biloxi. The Marlins just told him to stay in Biloxi for a few days till their AA team came. He would come sit with us while waiting for the Jumbo Shrimp to arrive. Nice kid and glad he made it.

I would love him, but not sure I see that happening

He is going to command a 120-150 million contract which I doubt the Marlins will pay. But I don?t see them offering up Chisholm in a trade when the Braves really dont have any value to send back.

I did read that AA has tried to trade for Soler twice and the Marlins wouldnt bite.

Renfroe hit HR #5 today.

He hit #5 and #6. He hit two homers in the game, and a double. He has the highest slugging percentage on the team (higher than Ohtani and Trout). He’s 3rd in the AL in homers and 6th in RBI.

He's been good, but if you believe in statcast, he has some major regression coming...

I don?t think he can keep up with the current pace, but Renfroe is good enough to stay in the show, as he has been there for 8 years already.

Hunter has stuck in the show for 4 years now. His run in Boston benefited him more than anything.
