Cade, Holcombe and Lo announced as starters. He and Colby both struggle the second time thru the order.

I really hope Gartman isn?t hurt. Maybe saving him for the Governor?s cup but to me that seems unlikely. We finally had some semblance of some pitching roles too?

Without Forsythe error Gartman would've had om shutout through 5 last weekend. If he's not in the rotation he's likely had some sort of injury

Heard Gartman needs the weekend off.

Holcombe has weekend starter stuff- he's just still raw and somewhat wild. Get 4 out of him and bring on Loftin I say provided he isnt having any arm issues. Loftin is wild too but he believes he is the best pitcher in the SEC. Love that kid's approach and moxy on the mound

Rumor I heard is Gartman is out for two weeks.

I don't expect Loftin back this year either.

I'm expecting Stinnett to start the Governor's Cup. They might surprise us and start Siary.

Heard Gartman may be injured and that is no bueno for us.

Gartman started the year throwing 91-92, his last two starts he was up around 95-96 occasionally.... Just when I thought he was starting to feel good.

I wish it was sexier to throw 86 and pitch forever, rather than 96 for 3 months and blow up.

21 consecutive years of 190+ innings a year. On the 15 day DL once in his career, for a inflamed nerve in his back. Crazy

I agree. Give me a 4 pitch guy. 89-90 with movement and location, 82 change up, 84-85 slider, 77 curve. But most importantly, that fast ball that backs up like Greg Maddux threw.

Yep, Lemonis even gave him the "game-winning" shirt in the dugout after the W.

Pitching injuries are the most frustrating things in baseball. They always have bad timing, and it almost always hurts the team. I hope to see a day where pitching staffs aren't decimated on a yearly basis but idk if we ever will

Boy that hurts. We can't lose any pitching to make a late run.

Replace current players with robots and AI, problem solved.*

Lemonis said he has the week off and he would be back for Tennessee.

Just heard Landon is suffering from a little dead arm, which does happen to pitchers on occasion. Just hoping that's all it is, but heard he should be back next weekend

How much actual relief does an arm really get from taking a week off?
