And when you try to play the game the way they are playing it, you will never have the talent to knock them off. You have to be different. Mike Leach gave us a chance to be different. Zach Arnett had the opportunity to continue to be different, but he decided to go with a pro style offense the way they do.
So far that has been true but Bama's D's aren't as tough or deep in front 7 since Kirby left. In 2018 with Mullen I think we could've ran it right down Bama's throat. However, Mullen wasn't the coach that year. Probably would've lost at the end tho when his ass puckered up ***
The point is we also don't know if Leach would've got there either. All moot points. Lessee what Arnett/Barbay can do. Or ... you can keep going around in circles about it I guess.
