Everyone with a top 40 RPI. I don't think the committee will have the guts to take all 14 teams to the Regionals, but they should if it's still everyone in the top 40 on selection day and no one is like 6-24 or anything.

Our pitching has definitely sucked. But we've also played the #1, 3, and 7 RPI teams in our first 3 weekends of conference play.

If we can get our staff to not be the worst in the league we've got a chance to be in a regional. And no one wants us as a 3 seed in their regional. But the staff will have to pick it up because we've got to find a way to 14 conference wins and we still have a ridiculous schedule left to play.

If we could just get to 12 wins and see what happens with our RPI. But I feel like 13 SEC wins and not stinking it up in Hoover could change our situation. However, to be realistic, I don?t think this team and coaching staff can get us there. Just didn?t fix the same issues from last year and actually got worse in the field and on a record setting pace with the free passes. After yesterday, the staff has the same number of walks/HBP as Strike outs in SEC games. That is unheard of at any level. We have 17 more errors then the next closest team. We have no one to fill those positions and with just 2 full infield practices a week in between games, I don?t see improvement coming.

As far as the infield defense goes, we need Jake to do what Ron Washington does with the Braves infielders. A lot of individual work and drills on the side. It doesn?t have to be infield and outfield drills.

We've gotta pack a lunch for sure. Lot of stuff to cleanup. 14 wins is doable but it's gonna take better than what we've been showing. We are showing signs of getting better but pitching defense has to be more consistent

Everybody in the SEC is in the RPI Top 40 right now so there are no bad losses in conference play for anyone. Just going to be about accumulating enough wins.

10-8 in the last 18 is what you pretty much have to have. But your best window for winning games is right now. Our next three opponents are all below .500 in conference, even Tennessee, who I think is a good team but nowhere near what they were last year.

I'd like to think the cup is half full but we simply dug ourselves too big a hole to get out of. All we can ask for at this point is to keep improving and let these youngsters get the experience. I just don't see any post season considering what we have remaining.

I think our only chance to stay in post season conversation barring a miracle in winning the LSU or Ark series is to win 3 of the 4 against Ole Miss. I could be wrong but I don’t think the committee looks at conference record. It’s more about keeping that RPI high. We would be in a better position had we won that Friday night UK game

That game and game 1 against South Carolina where a blown strike three call lead to a 2 run blast that was the difference in the game.

If we win two games this weekend we will have 5 sec wins, then we hope the 3- and 4-win Sec teams need to lose this weekend. I read where our rpi is good but we gotta move up in the standings, I'd be shocked for the Sec to get more than 10 teams in the dance. What a mess.

I've watched them several times. Playing our best game we are better than them playing their best. Conversely, us at our worst is worse than their worst. (If that makes sense) We could sweep or get swept and I wouldn't be surprised.
