Keenum did that well. The President of the university showing that kind of emotion and enthusiasm to the players and students is important.

I wouldn't say he's bracky's savior, but I'd say compliance does exactly what they are told by Keenum. And that is enough.

Keenum is a good president. He just shouldn't be so puritan about NCAA rules.

NCAA rules are like speed limits. It is OK to break them to an extent. Unless you ask the authorities if its OK, and then of course they have to say its not OK even when they clearly don't care if you break them....to an extent.

I agree, Dr. Keenum is a good one. At an alumni meal last year, I heard that he typically has to tone down his anti "Mississippi" rhetoric. Its very obvious in those alumni events how much he dislikes them and particularly, not having the trophy in Starkville. He truly understands how much that game means to the University and the people. He is not just an academic--he gets it.
