Could plummet after winning a National Title.

What Lemonis has done to this program after taking it to the mountain top is criminal. At first I felt like a Foxhall removal was a must...but now I feel like Lemonis must go too. Absolutely no improvement for two straight years despite great recruiting? That means either poor evaluation, poor development, or poor coaching decisions....but likely a combo of all 3.

It's time to make the move. Lemonis is Gene Chizik

Agreed with the sentiment, but it's not unprecedented for a team to win the national title and then fall off.

Lemonis should have been fired last May. Not firing Foxhall at that time was grounds for his termination. Now he will lose his as well.

Is Lemonis and Foxhall both texting their girlfriends during practices and games? ****

That's about the only way an MSU team can be this bad 2 years in a row.

I guarantee you OM won't finish last in the SEC for two straight years. They may not be that good, but they'll figure it out.

No he should have gotten rid of foxhall. He didn't and that's on him. Now he'll have to pay the price

Who the 17 cares?

Why do our fans continue to care what happens in the Oxford house rather than fixing the shitshows(when they exist) in the Starkville house

It?s tiring and sad

Yeah and I guess OM ain't our rival either.

No one said the priority wasn't fix our mess first but we gonna suck rest of year at least. Last thing most Bulldogs want to see is OM continue to excel. So you telling me you are OK with OM having another Omaha run this year?

I don?t give two shits about OM and what they do, rivalry or not

If anything, its good when they excel because that seems to be the only thing that gets us off our asses to do anything to improve

If both are sucking, our fans just find solace in the ?at least OM sucks too?

I've stepped back. Apathy has set in. Didn't really even follow today's game because I knew with who we had pitching it would take us scoring double digits to have a shot. I have never seen a team this generous to the opposition. Whoever we play seems to always score more runs than they have hits due to walks, hit by pitch, errors, steals, etc. We are so fundamentally flawed that it's tough to watch.

Is Lemonis our baseball version of Joe Moorhead when it comes to being the players' friend?

One thing Henderson understood was pitching. Whether he could recruit and manage the rest of the team, I'm not sure. He wouldn't be worse than Lemonis, but he hasn't turned Utah around yet either. However, Utah has always been pretty much at the bottom of the PAC10. Not sure how long he's been there.....a couple years maybe?

There's falling off and nosediving off of a cliff. I believe we are the latter.

Henderson took Us to Omaha. Has a track record as a proven Pitching Coach. He never sat on a bucket. He can coach circles around lemonis. With all MSU has to offer in baseball--you really have to be a dumbass to fail. An average Coach should be able to finish in the top of the SEC.

Would you call this above average, average or below average?

1. 35-25 (12-17)
2. 40-23 (16-14)

1 is polks last 5 years
2 is Cohens last 5 years

My thoughts, Polk became a below average coach during his 2nd tenure - he didn?t recruit well and and then the culture deteriorated - he shit his drawers and Cohen came in and cleaned it up

And by your definition, Polk was always a below average coach during 2nd tenure - except his best SEC year 2003 finished 17-12 and was 3rd in West 4th overall and the east was garbage that year

I think the conventional wisdom is that if UM goes down, their recruiting efforts will also fall, thus giving us more opportunities to wrap up the state. Unfortunately, I don't believe this strategy has worked in the past.

Polk, should never had a round 2. He was obsessed with the NCAA and other projects. The truth is JC nor Polk ever came close to last place in the SEC.. they also didn’t have all the advantages a MSU Coach has now. No new Dude-no NIL. Now the Portal—-Polk would have killed the portal.

Um, guess you don?t remember 2008, polk finished dead last 2 games behind next to last at 9-21

Then Cohen took over, tied for last in first year and then 11/12 in year 2

After one weekend the last two national champions, and UT, the most dominant team for the whole season last year, are combined 0-9.
