No Ed could at least identify and recruit talent. We fail to even do that. Chizik is the correct comp.

Eddie O had great assistant coaches- just couldn't keep them.

Lemonis had 2 great "assistant coaches" that declared for the draft.

Lemonis actually followed the Gene Chizik path exactly. Year 1 hit expectations and exceed a bit. Year 2 won a nattie. Year 3 complete bust and then year 4 it bottomed out completely and was fired
