sleeper: I like Mississippi State at +5000 quite a bit. The Bulldogs are on the NCAA tournament bubble but have a favorable second-round matchup against a Florida team that is without star big man Colin Castleton. MSU has a star big man of its own, Tolu Smith. He often gets overshadowed by other players in the SEC, but Smith has been excellent for the past three seasons in Starkville. He?s averaging 15.4 points and 8.3 rebounds per game this season. With Alabama scuffling a bit, I wouldn?t be shocked if MSU pulled off the upset over the top-seeded Crimson Tide in the quarterfinals.

Someone who hasn't watched our outside shooting by our guards, except Moore perhaps.

That's not a bad bet. We should beat UF. We played Bama close both times (before the controversy that is distracting them now). We have beat Mizz and aTm, one possession game with UK. I might get some action on that!

Agree. If we had better shooters, I would think we had a chance because we do play good defense. We didn't rebound very well against Kentucky, but most of the time we rebound pretty well.

I kind of look at the SEC Basketball Tournament a little like the baseball tournament. Let's get our job done, maybe even upset Bama, and get the hell out of there. The highest we can go is a 9 seed anyways and I'd rather be a 10 if that's the case.

I'm with you on the 10 seed. Would prefer not to play a 1 seed opening weekend if at all possible. Current 2 seeds are good but don't scare me.

Also need Cam to be Cam in every facet of his game, which his bad game against vandy didn't help our chance to win. One other point, Cam, wear your hair up rest of season. Makes you look 6'9"and no one wants to be guarded by you or try to take a charge. Hail Cam! Hail State! Beat FL, then bama!

These Tournaments in the big arena?s are all about the inside game.
