I like it. Kinda says alot about how far the franchise has come. Some may disagree but I think this is good news. Prolly puts Saints in driver seat for NFC South.

Definitely an upgrade.

The Saints instantly have the best QB in the NFC South. This will probably push the Falcons to try to go all in on Lamar Jackson as they have been rumored to be a team interested in him.

Not impressed. He's no better than Dalton.

He had Devante Adams for crying out loud.

That's a hot take. Dalton was actually better than carr this season, but that's the first time in the last 5 years. Here's passer rating for each the last 5 years (from 2018-2022)....

Dalton: 89.6, 78.3, 87.3, 76.9, 95.2
Carr: 93.9, 100.8, 101.4, 94.0, 86.3

Five year avg for carr on passer rating is 95.3. That's pretty solid

If Michael freaking Thomas would get healthy this offense could be unreal with Carr at QB. Olave, Thomas, Taysom, Kamara. Explosive.

Don't forget shaheed. He was outstanding the 2nd half of season as a rookie

Michael Thomas' health and the impending suspension of Kamara are the biggest question marks for the Saints now after getting Carr signed. I would imagine we'll try to draft Bijan if he's there at 29, but otherwise we'll wait and probably grab Gibbs in the second. We also need to address the CB opposite Lattimore and need to start preparing for life after Demario and Cam.

The Raider games that I was able to see, I loved his competitiveness, but he’d have some bad throws at crucial times.

I guess the main thing for the Saints is to make sure to remain as good on Defense as they have been the last couple of years.

Longtime WhoDat I am, but I’m not a fan of Dennis Allen as a head coach.

I always thought Derek Carr had a shitty first team. Not unlike Brees. Hope he has an opportunity to win the Super Bowl and rub it in the entire Raiders fan base.

I like Carr better than Dalton. And I wish the Saints still had Trey Hendrickson at defensive end.

The best QBs are in the AFC. Josh Allen, Tua, Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, Trevor Lawrence, Mahomes, Russell Wilson, Justin Herbert.

The NFC is Hurts, Dak, Daniel Jones, Cousins, Aaron Rodgers, Justin Fields, Stafford, Kyler Murray.

Rodgers likely a jet now, right?

Lifelong Raiders fan. He never had a playoff win in 9 years with the Raiders.

It amazes me how much $ an even average QB makes in the NFL these days. I have loved the Raiders since I was a boy in the early 60's and Carr never impressed me.
