I HATE the "Left, Right" chant at basketball games

Every time an opposing player fouls out our fans are on the edge of their seat to scream it.

The problem is that a majority of the time we are about to shoot important free throws with under two minutes left in the game.

The entire student section yelled "Sit Down!" right as Cam Matthews released the ball on his second free throw to put us up by double digits.

Can this please stop. It's not like it's some unique tradition we came up with. Every fan base does it, and the opposing players always time their sit with our shooter.

Have more sense. SMH

I am an old fan, as much as I am continuing to fight it. My son and I stopped the chant as Cam went to the foul line. We were seating in 107 and majority of students continued. I'll forgive them this error and hope they learn, but boy they had the Hump rocking very loudly throughout the entire game. Hail State and Win Out!

Probably at the BSU mixer night. Also, as Goldendawg said below, the chant has been going on since I was a kid, and our dipshit fans continue to yell at our own players shooting free throws.
