Virtually incapacitated earlier this week, Dak came off the bench to save the quarter, the game, the season, a bowl game … and just possibly his head coach’s job.

After the game, he was as polite and humble as you would want a football hero to be. While all around him there was bedlam – a jubilant crowd that had surrendered to euphoria. His teammates carrying – running – the aptly named Golden Egg trophy in circles around the stadium amidst cheers, hugs and tears.

And in the din of it all stood Dak Prescott – smiling quietly. With his mother watching down on him … if having not just finished blocking for him.



I'm glad we won and all, but I am REALLY glad for Dak.
