Bryce Chance at DH is kinda surprising but the dude is a ball player so it doesn't surprise me too much. Gotta figure we'll try several guys out in that spot.

Was at the game and had to leave early to run an errand. On the way back home, I heard Jim say something I've never heard before when Dohm was pitching. "He took a little off of it and got it in at 95 around the knees for a strike." Later Jim said he threw an 88mph breaking ball.

I also saw something today I don't think I've ever seen. A line drive go off two gloves while still in the air. I think it was Alford who smoked it back to the pitcher who deflected it toward second where it also went off of his glove.

Never understood the rule that eliminates the starting pitcher from getting a decision if he doesn't go a full 5 but a reliever can come in for one inning and get the win even if the score was 15-0 when he enters. As Madea would say, that's crazy as hell.

I was impressed with Hardin and Forsythe. Their fbs seemed to have good life and movement. Dohm was as advertised, very good! Yntema didn't give up anything hard hit.
