This is a long a** season. We're going to look bad at times. We'll probably look really good at times. Don't freak out at the first sign of adversity. And that's saying a lot coming from me because I used to be the king of overreactions when it comes to baseball. Thankfully, I've wised up the longer I've been away from college. I used to take a football and basketball mindset and apply it to baseball, and you can't do that.
So don't claim the season is over if we lose a game this weekend.
Don't melt because we drop a series or a midweek game.
Don't call a player trash because he's slumping.
Save all those comments for May. If we suck in May, sure go for it. I've gotta feeling we won't though. Excited for us to get back at it and argue with y'all about minor things that don't matter. Let's go baby!
