Purcell blew the lead with the tech but good lord the officiating was atrocious. They weren?t even cheating for Tennessee. They were just horrible all around.

Going into today, we were 0-7 against Q1 and 15-0 against the rest. While we had a top 40 NET, that's the kind of resume that leads to a very nervous Selection Day. Now we finally have a Q1 win.

It would be great to grab another Q1 win or two just to be sure, but we should be all set to make the field now unless we drop one to a bad team.

As I have said repeatedly, SEC officiating is corrupt and favors the "big name" programs in all sports. 40 or so free throw attempts for TN, a joke. As Jackie always said, "You must be ready to beat the other team and the refs."

Wasn?t very impressed with Sam?s coaching tonight. That T should have cost him the game and he cussed out the young assistant. Felt sorry for the kid. But to the girls credit.. they never quit and could have shot layups all nite long. TN not very good either.

Seriously, I have never been an official but I can think of ways to make officiating better in about 15 minutes. Actually audit the officiating as the seasons go on and at the end of seasons. After each game if there are issues they should be punished and officials that have the fewest blown calls should get nice bonuses and their selection of which games to officiate. BOOM! DONE!

We've got a stretch of winnable games coming up to finish strong. I expect a loss to LSU but 3-2 over the 5 games before that should get us in.

The sad part is I knew it was coming.

This really needs to be fixed! Every time we play a sec team that has chance of going to the NCCA playoffs or tournament regardless sport we get totally screwed by the officials. Time to stop this! MSU needs to put together a video with narrative and send it to the SEC showing how bad these officials are missing fouls and incorrectly calling fouls. And demand they respond. And make the video and response public!

My wife has been an MSU fan since she's been with me (2011), and she was absolutely losing her shit last night on the calls. I just calmly said, "Welcome to the MSU party, this shit has been going on for decades" referencing the OBVIOUS BS REF calls throughout the night. We MSU brethren know how it works, and last night Sam and MSU women beat the refs just like JWS would suggest.

Something must be done, some sort of video audit because that was just criminal.

I didn't like some of player substitutions at times. He took the Johnson girl out and she was hot and dealing.

This exactly the reason that I never watch a State game without muting the sound. The overwhelming majority of the announcers/commentators are absolutely horrible, and most are homers (against us)!! The only thing that would have made it worse was if Beth Mowins was calling the game!! She's absolutely the worst!!
