Id let Partridge coach Safeties if Hughes wants to move into an administrative position.

Really Clark?

Bama had the top ranked scoring defense in 2020. They finished with the third and second-ranked defense in the conference over the past two seasons so they're definitely struggling (rolls eyes). Problem is an over entitled fan base.

Sounds like everyone is pretty tore-up about it.

That's just great, now Saban will hire Arnett to replace Pete. We cant have anything nice.

Is that a real article? What is more likely?

SaBear fired Pete OR ole miss hired him away in spite of bama's efforts to keep him?

I think saban told him to look elsewhere but damn , does that make the bow ties cocky because of perception.

They are pissing me off today

If Saban thought Golding was good at his job, he would be staying.

Bammer's D was statistically one of the best in the country this year, but Golding completely screwed the pooch a couple of times and that cost Bammer, big... He wasn't consistent and had some "3rd & Grantham" moments...

To add, putting Will Anderson in Pass Coverage should be a frickin' felony... Oh, and maybe put a guy on UT's Hyatt so ya can get a shot at the NC....

I could be a top 10 Defensive Coordinator at BAMA.

Yeah, and the three years prior to Golding becoming DC Bama was 2015 3rd Total D, 3rd Scoring D
2016 1sr Total D, 1st Scoring D
2017 1st Total D, 1st Scoring D
not in the conference, but all in the entire nation
Under Golding:
2018 16th Total D(guess who was 2nd?) 12th Scoring D(guess who was 1st?)
2019 21st Total D 16th Scoring D
2020 32nd Total D 13th Scoring D
2021 7th Total D 18th Scoring D
2022 13th Total D 10th Scoring D

Do y'all really think Ole Miss "stole" this clown from Saban and Bama? His ass was told to get out. Glad the Bears got him.

Sure ,the fan base wasn't satisfied but they never are unless they win a N/C. Do you really think Saban wouldn't just fire his ass if he didn't want him? Yeah, whatever. He may not have been pleased with him but if he wanted him gone, that would've likely already happened. The most likely thing is that he was feeling heat and may not have been comfortable with what he saw returning. Who knows but I don't buy that he was going to be fired anytime soon.

If Saban wanted him he'd damn well still be at Bama. Saban has someone already hired. He was told to find a job.

It's who we are. Small potatoes

It?s not like we can?t pay more for coaches or players. It?s just that fact that we are the old man at the car lot who is trying to get the best bang for his buck

We want to go bowl games so we try to spend the least amount of money possible to get it

Yes, small potatoes. We are the old man of the SEC, that's a good comparison. The old man that's bitter he didn't have more fun before he turned into worm food.

Golding has close friends in the Oxford area and as a matter of fact had been in discussions with the bear/shart/rebel folk basically all of the past season. They'll look similar on D now as they did last year simply trying to create chemistry with several portal guys.
