That's one of the stranger transfer portal things. Even their guys are confused about it. It seems like they're telling him that he'll get a chance to compete for that job. However, anyone can see he has no shot of winning it. Dart is Kiffin's guy.

Sawyer and Braedyn are both tied to Leach and to a lesser extent Drew. We neither of them here there's no chance either of them come back.
