I know we're just under a marginal risk, but the HRRR has really ramped up the severe threat for north and central MS tomorrow morning. It wouldn't surprise me to see parts of the state upgraded to a slight risk for tomorrow. Some of the helicity tracks and the significant tornado parameter are quite impressive...especially over east MS. Just something to keep in the back of your mind tomorrow morning.

Too late! We had storms come through Madison, MS this morning with ice cube size hail, strong winds and a lot of lightning. I lost a 60+ ft pine tree in my back yard. No house damage but what a mess I will have to clean up! UGH!!!!!!

Wow! Just jumped on the NWS Jackson MS Twitter page. I had no idea the southern half of MS was getting hit with severe thunderstorms & tornado warnings. Seems I may have seen a possibility of a 2nd round later for y?all, then continuing into AL & GA. Stay safe everyone.
