Do it Dak.

Damn it Cowboys. Punter dropped the snap. Hilton dropped as easy first down. Two three and outs, down 7

Well, the game started out on a sour note. Muff by the Dallas punter, then a TD pass, I think on the next play, by the Skins.

Dallas seems to play up or down to their competition

Geez, now Dallas has muffed the punt reception.

If they keep playing like they have so far, the competition is a lot better than they are.

Pro-bowl punt returner just handed the ball to the Washington player

Washington got away with a very clear hold on Washingtons punt. Cowboys fumble the kick. 1st and goal Washington.

About a pathetic start as you can get

Never heard of that rule about giving room to a receiver on fair catch after he bobbled it. I would like a better replay but I believe he may have had an opportunity to catch it on the second chance.

And we get a break on missed FG!! Lucky

So.... Dak.

Dak is having a great day. Threw it right to that Washington guy. The one right before missed it.

There used to be a "halo rule" but that's long gone. I guess that was on non-fair catch balls, but in this particular case nobody was near him - the ball just hit him right in the face.

I have defended Dak for years, but damn, this is pathetic. I realize he doesn?t have a true #1 and his #2 and #3 are fairly bad, but damn.

When Dallas said they would pull the starters if Philadelphia got a big lead I knew they wouldn’t play well.

He's got some mental stuff going on or something.

Prior to this year, Dak generally took care of the football. His decision making this year has been awful and it seems to get worse as the season goes on

I love him. But damn, he looks like a guy that just signed a huge contract in the twilight of his career, ala Wilson.

Yes, but they said on the ricochet off his chest he still has an opportunity to catch the ball if it’s close enough to him(not hitting the ground of course) since he gave the fair catch signal. I thought it may have been close enough for him to still grab it while it was still in the air and the defense has to give you that room. Never knew that.

I think they said he had 15 on the year after he came back from the injury. Remember when he first was their starter? Set the NFL rookie record of 176 passes without an interception in 2017. Not sure how long he continued that streak before his first giveaway. But he's definitely receded this year.

Agree, if that's a rule it doesn't seem logical. He's already muffed it by that point.

A lot of it was Dak really didn't take chances. They set him up for high % plays.
As he's progressed through his career, he's taken more chances and it's resulted in more turnovers

Hard to believe the game is still so close near halftime. Washington's not playing that great on offense, but then they don't have to.

And

I still hate their play calling.

Much better, but I thought they were going to run out of time. Still a TD+ difference. Everybody's missing PATs and FGs.

Great drive to end the half.

Another special team's miscue with the missed PAT. Holy crap

Dak played horrible tonight, but context matters....his OL is shattered with injuries, which means the run game can't do anything and Dak is getting immediate pressure....plus, the Dallas pass catchers (outside of CeeDee Lamb and Dalton Shultz) are some of the weakest in the league....they get zero separation.

Jerry traded Amari Cooper for a 5th round pick...instead choosing to extend Gallup, who was coming off a torn ACL and has was their #3 (at best!) option...and who did Jerry replace Coop with? A WR they signed in the offseason that never played and just got released. Just criminal management from those morons.

Dallas is drafting a QB this year. Probably the TCU guy if they can get in position to get him.

Dallas reminds me of several NFL teams. Give mega deal$ to the QB and Zeke, also in Dallas case. No $ left in cap for a good supporting cast or owner then gets tight. Team gets continually worse.

Why not resign rush to a cheap deal?

Did you watch Rush? They were bottom of the league in almost every offensive statistic with him under center. On the other hand, since Dak has returned, the Cowboys are near the top of the league in almost every offensive statistic, which included winning 12 regular seasons games in back to back years for the first time in almost 2 decades.

Unless you're using a top 4 round pick, you most likely aren't gonna get better than rush. With the deal dak just signed, do you wanna use draft capital for back up qb?

QBR actually has rush with a higher rating than dak... 60.0 to 58.3. I think rush is fine as a backup qb. His record of 5-1 supports this. And no, I'm not implying he's better than dak bc he isn't, but I do think he's a solid backup
