Dennis Gates appears to be a really solid hire. Mizzou always had a solid basketball tradition before joining the SEC, but they have overall had a bad 10 years. They are definitely a traditional decent program and with the right coach can do really well

He brought some guys with him from Cleveland State, but it?s a completely new line up/team. At this point, he seems to be a solid hire.

When we had that big SEC coaching change......my ranked wish list was.......

1) Golden
2) Jans
3) McMahon
4) Gates
5) Paris

Of course Florida jumped quickly to secure Golden and we followed up getting Jans. I never thought Gates would do anything at Mizzou, but lo and behold. Let's see if they can make a dent in the East.
