At this point are we left with just making Bracky Brett our AD?

We paused the search with Mike passing. Look for us to have a hire the second week of January. Benko, Wicker, and Mike Alford are the names. Veatch has faded. All I will say is you better pray that it is either Benko or Alford. Hell Bracky would be better than Wicker.

Of course Veatch faded. That's the only candidate that has no MSU ties. Unreal the way we hire.

Benko resume is just as good or better, just because he spent 4 years here you are against him? If you just looked at his previous 8 years at Georgia, Arkansas and Auburn you wouldn't care. He is not a home grown MSU only guy.

Alford didn't even get his degree from State and never work for us, but the sitting FSU AD is not good enough???

That's an opinion I've seen others share as well. Its more varied with the Leerfield work but I really disagree that it's better. Benko has a pure SEC track record and Alford is a sitting P5 AD. I think their resume is just as good or better.

Thanks. Didn?t realize he was an alum. Seems like he has great experience including being the CEO of their booster org previously.

He's not an Alum. He played 1 year then transferred to UAB.
