Gonna be a very tough game for us, Bama is battle tested, they've probably played the hardest schedule in the country... they already played #12 Michigan State, #20 UConn, #1 UNC, #1 Houston, Memphis and Gonzaga.....and their record is 10-2 against all those blue blood basketball schools. We will learn a lot about our team tonight.

They certainly have played a very tough schedule and are a very, very good team. Michigan State is meh, Memphis is alright, and UNC is nowhere near as good as thought, though they have now crawled their way back into the bottom of the top 25. The Houston win was a monster win. UConn and Gonzaga are also both extremely good, though Bama lost both of those games.

We absolutely can win this. Anyone who doesn't think we can doesn't understand college basketball. I wouldn't put money on us, but I expect it to be a pretty tight game one way or the other.

Based on the posts here on this board/thread we will be fortunate just to get the ball across half court. Might need to go ahead and cancel the game at halftime if we are down by more than 5.

We really do have the worst fans, especially in basketball

I understand college basketball very well and all those wins Bama have are huge.. I also predicted this game to go the way it would based on our last three showings. We have to fix some things in a hurry or we will find ourselves a bottom feeder. I'm not trying to be the told you so guy, I just watch alot of college basketball and our play was trending this way... teams have alot of tape on us now and are learning how to beat us

I?m fine with it. I just want to see folks fired up for basketball again. The knock on Jans was always his offensive system. Thats why I wanted a more offensive minded coach from the get go

This recruiting/transfer portal class after this year will be huge for him going forward. Better find some scorers or it will be tough road by year 3

Easier than taking candy from a baby. Anybody that had watched these teams recently knew Bama was superiorly talented and playing better. I got in at -1.5. Easiest money I've made in a while. We have some very naive fans.

tonight wasnt on Jan. We struggle to make FT's and shots. We are coached very well for the first time since the 1990's. Now he needs to get more talent

That's the question mark on him. Can he get more talent? That remains to be seen.

18 missed free throws.

It’s a dying art. Gotta score in conference games. Period.

We had a great plan. Hammer Bama in the paint- make their soft ass guard Tolu. Get them in foul trouble. And we did. What we did not count on?

Tolu was 1-7 from the field and 3/15 from the FT line. When your best player does that- you wont win games. Thats the bottom line. Tolu goes 10/15 from the line and its a different game

I agree but also have to say that anytime a team loses the coach usually takes the blame. Also, you have to look at our recent play and how bad the offense has been all year, at the end of the day it's the coaches responsibility and to be honest our offense has looked bad most of this season. No he cant go out and make shots for the team but he has to put them in the best position to score. Jans strength is his defensive coaching and ability to motivate, his offense and recruiting lack some.

When has tolu ever gone 10/15 from the line?

Tolu should be in the gym shooting free throws at least an hour every day for a while. If I shot 3/15 from the FT line as a major college basketball player I would come away from the game totally embarrassed. Tolu makes Shaq look like a good FT shooter.

Tolu entered the game shooting 60% from the line and had been shooting them well recently. 60% is 9/15
