Tom Brady's last snap will be taken before March 2023. Dude is just plain old now.

I don't think he's retiring.

Umm no. Maybe Arron Rogers.

Umm no. Maybe Arron Rogers.

I will take Sean back, and I don't care who he chooses at qb.

I do think Sean and Brady will be a package duo. They already had it lined up in Miami, which cost the dolphins their 1st round pick.

Nah Sean is going to the Chargers if the owner has the balls to pull the trigger on a playoff coach or maybe Denver if they back the truck up. Brady is going to Vegas. Brady would never play under Sean

the only way Payton goes back to New Orleans is if they offer partial ownership

You might too. They were separate occasions, they tampered with Brady pre Tampa in 2019 and with Payton in 2022. The first round pick loss was an aggregation along with the Flores lawsuit.

Payton is done with the Saints

ETA... you're right though in that I tied them coming to Miami with losing the 1st round pick. I was wrong saying brady was tampered with this season, but the plan was clearly brady and Sean to Miami THIS past offseason

Payton is done with the Saints

Maybe. Mike florio and Jeff Duncan seem to think it's a very real possibility.

Personally I doubt it happens, but it makes sense to me if Brady joins him. The jobs Sean wants don't appear to be opening this offseason, so bring Brady with him back to Nola to coach out his final 2 years of his contract.

Jerry is looking for any reason to fire McCarthy and bring in Payton.

Sean coaching the saints or anyone in 2023 is a win for the saints. Right now he's doing the saints no good

Oh yeah, I forgot about brady almost coming to Nola in 2019, but Brees came back...

I think Rodgers bails out of GB after this season.

Agreed 100%. The Saints need him on their sidelines, or they need the picks/players from a team that hires Payton.

Rodgers is guaranteed 60 million in 2023. You think he bails from that?

Just looked, and his dead cap is 99 million. Yeah, he's gonna be a packer next season

Quite possibly. He is getting old and running out of time. GB is not going to win the SB next year and he knows it. He can get 30 million easy somewhere else with a chance to win a SB

Remember he was trying like hell to get out of there before the season. The New Orleans sports guys were saying that Mickey was trying to get him but they couldn't pay, nor anyone else, what the packers wanted. Also 7 or anyone else is Michael Thomas still counting against the cap? I know Jordan is a big hunk of it but who else?

Nonsense. Nobody is going to walk away from 60 million.

He is already worth 200 million or more- whats 60 million vs 30 million?

Dude has 2-3 more years to win a SB and its over

Thomas has 25 million in dead cap, so I don't see him being anywhere but Nola. It drops to 13 million in 2024.

I’ll bet Andrew Luck left more than $60 million on the table. Bezos did when leaving Amazon. Prince Harry when leaving the Royal Family. Coach34 when he refused to date Gisele so she settled for Tom Brady instead.

Only a ready made super bowl level team in need of a QB

Andrew Luck retired because he was sick of getting injured and becoming a professional rehabbing player. Rodgers is a different player.

And Luck gave up a lot of future earnings to protect his long term health. It would be more than $60 million in future earnings. So as I said, some folks have walked away from $60 million. It happens.
