I still think its Dallas unless McCarthy is able to pull off a huge upset in the playoffs over San Fran or Philly

I would like to see him in Dallas but can't imagine working for JJ.

Where Sean goes he will have total control over personnel like he did in New Orleans. Micky handled money and Sean did people, Can't see JJ walking away.

Dallas would become an immediate Super Bowl contender, much more than they currently are, if Sean Payton became coach. JJ would be a fool not to take him and give him the control needed to create another possible dynasty in Dallas.

I think one of the west coast teams (LA, LA, LV, and Arizona) will be the spot

I heard some people say that he was going to go to the Chargers. No clue if it's true or not.

I definitely think that's his desire, but chargers winning now is making it tough

True. We'll see what happens.

I think it's Chargers or Cardinals.

The GM of the Cardinals just left on medical leave and may not return. There has been tension this year between Kingsbury and Kyler as well, with the owner. He is currently 30-38-1 in his time there.

It won't be Dallas. Payton is too smart for that.

And Jerry is too smart for that as he'd have to give up control (and we know Jerry is ALWAYS the smartest man in the room, Super Bowl trophies be damned).

Jerry is 80 years old. If he wants a chance at a Super Bowl before he dies he better hire Payton

Fify. We (saints fans) want our 1st round pick

Rams have their coach for awhile
Hard to see LV make a move 1 year in
Dont see the Chargers making a move yet

Arizona? Certainly possible

Mcvay is most likely going to broadcasting. He almost did last season

I'd prefer him go to Arizona for that exact reason. We need a damn 1st rounder and that's the easiest way to get it

Or 3 lol. Won't be worth it no matter how many first rounders it is. Still holding out hope he comes back.

I can't see that dysfunctional Chargers organization giving him control or JJ either.

That won't be any better than Dallas is now. He has New Orleans in salary cap HELL! The worst in the league. Great coach, but the decisions on the cap were down right criminal.

Someone has to be willing to give up 2 first round picks for him.

If he does it won't be for long. Coaching is in his blood. It never leaves. See bill parcels. Etc. he's wayyyyy too young to stop forever. A year. Sure. Two maybe, past that....

Welp, if it's Arizona, I hope he demands (AND GETS) control over the uniforms as well; there's absolutely NOTHING that has any degree of redeeming value with those uni's; top to bottom, the ugliest I've ever seen (at the NFL level).
