OC is only 27. Big risk lol. But who knows. I’d take Reed in a heart beat. He instantly makes us better.

Last year Bailey Zappe had the most unreal season statistically in FBS history in this offense.

476/687 for 5,967 yards and 62 TDs.

With my untrained eyes, our offense line it is would be lethal with a QB who can run.

476/687 for 5,967 yards and 62 TDs.

Zappe's OC (Zach kittley) was at texas tech this year. TT put up about 40 more yds/game and 3 more pts/game this season.

Didn't realize TT got WKU's OC.

I remember a time when dancing into the endzone was a penalty and they took the points away. Hated that rule.

SBama is trying to play this offense man to man constantly and you just can?t do that. Your DB?s are going to be completely gassed if you?re not getting any pressure on the QB.

It's pretty rare that we agree on something regarding football.

But I agree with you on this.

Short resume for Ben Arbuckle. But he has coached Bailey Zappe and Austin Reed.

I would think he would likely be available for us and likely cheaper than some of the other people mentioned.

On paper seems like a cheaper more realistic Zach Kittley who isn't coaching at his alma mater. And he coaches QB's obviously which would be a fit for us as far as position player coaching.

Honestly, he seems like the kind of coordinator hire that we have hit big with in the past- like Manny Diaz in 2010 and Zach Arnett.

You definitely could be right. I'd take him over Matt Mumme and others like that that have been mentioned.
