Now I don't know how Narduzzi would know this but this is some B.S., especially when the guy isn't in the portal.

It's just a sign of the times. You have to not only recruit the players to get on your roster, but you have to recruit them to stay on your roster. You may not like it, but that's the lay of the land nowadays.
