Why does it cut off at "especially not gonna be excited about a guy that leaves" then goes into the tough part? Was Leach about to say WHY he really left & the person recording didn't want us to know?

Sounds like DJ decided to leave before Leach said this. There?s obviously more to the story. Leach was annoyed he was leaving and made this comment to another RB possibly to get his point across that A he demands toughness and B here?s an opportunity for you. He was probably using that as an opportunity to motivate another player and what harm comes from it if DJ is already leaving? Doesn?t matter if it?s true about DJ or not.

Yeah, it's against the NCAA rules for a school to contact a player before he actually enters the portal but there are all kind of loopholes where it can be done.

I agree honestly, Dansby is good, not 100% sold on his offensive numbers this year staying or getting better but he is a dang good SS. But with that the SS are getting, we shouldn't pay him that amount to keep him. It's insane and Correa still hasn't signed yet.

Will never work. Need 10 man rotation at receiver, including those who can disappear for 1 1/2 to 2 quarters! Also running 5 to 10 yard patterns wears these guys out quickly.****

Leach is 100% in the right. DJ had already left meaning he?s not part of the team any longer and he CHOSE that. You don?t talk up your opponent and if he?s not on the team then he?s on an opposing team. He?s an opponent. An adversary. You have no obligation to praise him at that point. I?m sure DJ is a nice guy but I?m a State fan not a fan of wherever he is going.
