Heard Bo talking about it this morning. Odom accepted the HC job at UNLV. And rumors are Kendall Briles is working on a deal with Beamer to be his new OC at South Carolina.

Next year could be a really bad year for Pittman if he whiffs on the coaching hires.

Something about UNLV for fellow eliedoggers. The casinos have fronted a lot of money for the new stadium. The Raiders do not even own all the seats for their games because the casinos have protected their investment into the stadium.

The same sort of influence will probably happen with UNLV. The casinos will want a quality college team that they can feature to their clientele. You come to our hotel/casino and you get seats to watch a quality UNLV? Filling up the stadium, with UNLV spectators, also helps getting a return on investment.

Not sure at the moment. First name floated was Georgia DL coach Tray Scott (Arkansas native), then Geoff Collins, then Ron Roberts but he just went to Auburn.

Collins seems to make the most sense but if it hasn't happened by now sounds like someone else is being considered instead.
