While Sankey's 2018 memo, which was obtained by ESPN, did not prohibit schools from hiring Freeze, it was a stern reminder of the conditions and restrictions related to Freeze if an SEC school had chosen to hire him at that point.

Yep. And it may not even be off the field. Auburn is very unforgiving if you lose a few games.

Agree with this 100%. If he goes 3 years and is 0-6 against Bama and UGA and loses to OM, State, USCe or someone like that once or twice he will be gone.

Auburn and Florida have the same problem, instead of trying to build a team to compete with Bama they think they are Bama so the results should be immediate and just like Bama.
