Ha. Somebody had to be the sacrifice.

Wonder if this means jimbo will turn the reigns over to a new OC

A surprising stat to me - aTm finished ahead of us in total offense vs conf.

Total yds -
aTm 373.6/game
Us 356.8/game (11th in sec)

Yds/play -
aTm 5.50
Us 4.97 (13th in sec)

We didn't break 400 in our last 5 sec games. I hope we're looking to improve our offense also this offseason

That's been the idea, He saved his job but he would have change his offense and bring someone in to run it.

Hal way through the season he was told to hire a new OC "game day manager".

We need to improve, but you can make stats say what you want. For example, our offense finished 5th in the league in points per game and our defense finished tied for seventh.

I agree we absolutely need to improve, but 3 of those 5 were against the top 3 total defenses in the sec (uga, Bama, KY) and the other 2 were in the rain where we outgained Auburn and Mississippi.

True. That's kind of every year though. We play 3-4 of the Top 5 SEC defenses every season.
