That game a Jerious's second half performance is one of all time favorite MSU memories. He really deserved to be on a better team. He was/is such a humble person. I also was in the Georgia Dome when he ran for an 80 yard touchdown on his first carry against the Arizona Cardinals. My whole section was yelling "put in Norwood"!

It's kind of sad that he never really had a Coach in the NFL that could take advantage of his speed. Blocking under Petrino's awful scheme took it's toll on him. Or it seemed to from my perspective. Although he still had some great plays for the Falcons. Worth a YouTube search, for old times sake.

Lost in this was Jeremy Johnson getting 3 interceptions in this game.

He will always be my favorite player because of this.

I went to Brandon High School also, have had many conversations with Jerious. The guy is just what its all about man. He came and talked to us before a playoff game one time and said that through all the game's he'd ever played, NFL, College, that nothing beat high school ball. He came with us on the night of our graduation and threw us a party, I think he still does it for every graduating class. Had a free football camp every year. Not to mention one of the best football players I have ever seen in person. Jerious Norwood. Nuff said
