No, all that matters is winning. Tommy Pharr and Dave Marlar had great passing stats for their day, but we still lost most of the games.

If Will leads us to a win over Bama (don't see it happening ever) then I'll concede him being the better QB. Dak did have a better overall team around him and couldn't beat Bama. Nick Fitzgerald played a better game vs them than Dak or Will has.

Mullen bolting on fitz his senior year killed nick's legacy. If mullen stays 1 more year, we at least get a NY6 bowl, and fitz is perhaps #2 all time here

Yeah he was pretty much in that mood 1st quarter last year too whining about his shoulder or something the entire game. I really hate to break to yall Will sucks, yeah hes got some cool stats and stuff thats just a product of this offense as anyone with a brain can recognize. GOOD / GREAT qbs win in games that their performance determines the outcome of. Will Rogers has had none of those games. Dont get me wrong hes had some decent games no doubt but overall hes the definition of mediocre. No heart. Fitz legit could barely hit the broad side of a barn but he left it all on the field and never got shook even in the bama blowouts. Schrader would have been a better QB no matter what the offense was.
