I have a card autographed by Cabrera. I can't remember what year I got him to sign it though. We went to a ton of Braves games back then, starting in the Otis Nixon and Odabe McDowell days.

I fell asleep in the ninth inning... didn't find out until the next day and just assumed we lost .... and now I think I will go sign up for Social Security

Wow. Talk about getting old!!! I was a student at State. My grandfather who was a lifelong Braves fan had recently passed away. I ran out the door yelling after that play!!

I was too. I was watching at the LXA house. Gave us an excuse to drink some more!

Frankly, this was an ok moment. In 1992 MSU fans had bigger things to think about.

I was there Sec E up near the good seats. I remember the Bama fans at the trough worrying that they were gonna lose. Bamas defense was one of the best ever that year.

Yeah, I was there for that. So when you get to the 30th anniversary of us getting screwed by Bama Refs again feel free to make a post.

The Braves in '91 and '92 were pretty big on campus. Sid's Slide was a shared moment amongst a whole lot of us. You could hear people celebrating it around town.

I was 12, my dad had given up and gone to bed on the Braves, my mom stayed up with me. I think the first and only time I've ever cried over joyed over a ball game. Maybe until 2021, I shed a tear or two.
